I use GIMP because it was free and photoshop seems complicated. The background is easy. And the paint scheme shouldn't be too difficult but will take more time.

I can't find a good aerial, but you are using it for an avi so you probably wont be able to see the color scheme of the plane. ill post a few choices

There's a night time aerial which is okay. And he's got a point about the paint. You're avi is too small to notice.
