Sad for the way the new era is getting started, but excited for a full couple of weeks of #1 reps at practice, and an entire game to run the offense.

I hope his draft stock isn't hurt by it. Of course, sometimes the players that have "question marks" at the draft end up falling into a good situation by getting selected by a better franchise.

I don't know how he'll turn out as a pro, but I just want him 100% healthy to give it his best shot.

I cant see him going later than the 2nd round. The NFL has a lot of bad QB's playing right now.

No doubt. I'm amazed at how some NFL teams end up with some of these backup quarterbacks that no one has ever heard of. The quarterback position is so important to the success of a team. Take Adrian Peterson or Jamaal Charles off of their team, and they won't be as good, and it may cost them a game or two, but take Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning off of their team, and the season is lost.

Go look at the starting qb's for the 12:00 games last weekend. Atrocious.

His biggest issue has been his immobility. If this injury adds more question marks to that, I could see him falling to the 4th rnd. NFL QBs have to have pocket awareness and be able to move up/out of the pocket quickly and set their feet.

I think he has enough pocket awareness and mobility to move around in the pocket, sure he won't be a dual threat but his arm strength, ability to read defenses, and his accuracy (well sort of) is enough for him to be drafted high.

He improved drastically this year over last year with moving in the pocket. I'm saying this could cause teams to question those improvements. Tearing a ligament is a big deal. The rehab is exhaustive and getting back in the game is a huge adjustment.

He will probably be a mid-level pick rd 4ish. The issue is out of sight out of mind. He will suffer from not being at any of the combines. His arm and ability to read defenses are there. You don't have to be mobile to be an NFL QB but you do have to have a high level of awareness, and I think he needs to improve in that area before he can start in the NFL.

ACL injuries are not what they used to be. Dont forget he's been playing injured since the Florida game.

Modern medicine/rehab is pretty amazing. I hope he can bounce back.

I agree. It really is amazing how they've gone from a guaranteed career killer to a 6-month back to full speed injury. But I still think it hurts him in a team's eyes.
