Actually, thinking we have a good shot at winning is ignorant.

Negative? I guess but it's also reality.

ESPN has the rights to that one already.

I thought CBS had first dibs on all games where an Sec team is home team. Ie ND UGA this year.

Talking about next year’s LSU Texas game.

LSUs fear of Bama can’t tell day from night, Bama in skull dragging like always in broad daylight. Curious to see if it looks worse during the day or under the lights. We shall see .

CBS usually does not do games the first 2 Saturdays of football season (probably because of US Open) so not sure they even will do Texas At LSU next year at all.

why?

Bama destroyed us 29-0 at our place, have beaten us 8 straight, we've scored 10 points total the last 3 games, they've beaten us by double digits the last 4 games, they return their stud QB, and have had elite recruiting classes for many years now, so they'll just reload.

But it's "ignorant" to think Bama will roll us again next year? I'd say it's being entirely rational.

This is a lie that gets repeated a lot.

Yes, it is a rivalry Just because you want it to be doesn't mean it is. Auburn vs. Alabama is the rivalry your looking for. LSU vs. Alabama is just another game with a W for 'bama

and one fluke LSU win won't make it a rivalry again. it will take years of a few Alabama wins and competing for the West

Not even a sentence, but your first part agrees with me so thanks for that.

Auburn/Alabama is a rivalry, true. So is LSU/Alabama. So is LSU/Auburn. You can have more than one.

OSU could say the same thing about the Michigan game.

That game where we couldnt get a 1st in 4th and 1, started in the daylight.
Their fricking qb was CRYING in the sidelines knowing they lost.....but nope...Les Miles prevailes.

Possibly the worst play call in the history of football

Where do you get this part from???

The guy was responding to this
quote:

It hasn't even been a fun game to watch. CBS shouldn't wast their resources until LSU can keep up.

If you think the puzzle pieces aren't in place that allows LSU to keep up then you're ignorant of the situation. Bama lost a ton of players, we retained a ton of players. If you think LSU football is in a decline, then you're ignorant. This year is our best shot in a while at actually beating them (it all depends on the OL, imo). For some reason, in recent years, we play better at Bama + day game takes the hype out to some degree.

I'm not sure who this benefits.

I don't know how we perform in day road games but I'm guessing it's not stellar.

I don’t care what time we play them. The stars are finally lining up.

The reality is much more than just the win loss column. With that being said, the offensive output has been lackluster. Other forces outside of our control have not favored us either. We finally have the right conditions.

No surprise. Not even a competitive game two of last 3 years. Need to see something this year or I think it’s fair to say it’s not gonna change until we change

I think it’s a good call by CBS.... I assure you that UGAvs. ND will be a much more competitive game than LSU- Bama.

Sure, it’s different, first time for ND at UGA, ND is a national draw that CBS almost never has, no surprise at all.

I know it’s the snarky cool thing to say given LSU has lost 7 years in a row but ND was exactly competitive with Clemson last year. I don’t know what ND has coming back, but if they lost a lot I could easily be a blood bath.

And that could be possible... But its an early season game... ND IMO wont be as good as last year but Not Sure UGA will be either.... I hate to say this but no matter what time Bama and LSU play it will NOT BE CLOSE...……...
