I think we get in this week. This schedule is really shaping up to let us move up quite a bit actually.

Not sure we want to be ranked right now. It seems over the last few years everytime the tigers get ranked in BB they lose right after.

yes when the polls come out tomorrow we should brake the top 25. I think we will be in at somewhere between 23 to 25.

SEC in basketball is the equivalent of the PAC 10 in football. Just not a lot of talent outside of the top team.

Anyone else notice on yahoo sports they usually only list the top 25 teams in action but they listed 5 extra games today. We were one of them. I think they're anticipating something.

But seriously, I could care less about the rankings. Its all about getting better and winning the SEC. Didn't we beat a Bama team by 14 when we were favored by 12.5? Doing what you're expected to do won't get you much kudos. I like where we're headed and love watching my Tigers win in the PMAC, but we still got work to do.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but LSU plays MSU at thier house Wednesday. That will be the defining moment in this years race for the SEC champtionship regular season.

I doubt it. Too early to say and Ms. State will probably implode.

Not really. If LSU beats MSU Wednesday they will be 9-1 overall with "easy" games against Auburn (2, Ole Miss, and Vandy.

I am almost sure that 12-4 gets at least a tie for the SEC title, and it would take a complete collapse at that point for LSU to not finish 12-4.

I would think Ark a win also. If we loss to fl and Ky that is a 13-3 record. Got to win MSU

Big 10 is probably the 3rd best conference

No, I'm saying even if we lose on Wednesday we could easily win the west.

Until LSU beats somebody in the top 25 (which technically cannot happen since all of the remaining games are against teams that are out of the top 25), then they will continue to get little respect in terms of rankings. If LSU had beaten Texas A&M or Utah or Xavier, they would be in the top 25 at this point. Unfortunately, the only team that LSU's beaten this year that's gotten any pub nationally is Tennessee, and the Vols just lost to Auburn. The good thing about basketball is that rankings don't mean crap. As long as LSU takes care of business against the weaker teams in the SEC and wins a one or two against Florida, Kentucky, and Miss. St., they'll get in the tourney. Are we one of the 25 best teams in the country...probably so.. Does LSU deserve to be in the top 25 based on who they've beaten...questionable, even with the great record.

They can drop all three of those games. 12-4 probably still wins the SEC and even if it doesn't; 12-4 gets LSU in the dance with ease.

We would have beat them by 25 if we hadn't pulled our starters and put in the 6-10 guys off the bench for the last 6 minutes of the game
