Maybe because the opponents are highly ranked and are picked up by CBS to be shown at 2:30.
Day games against better opponents = less wins
Night games agains lesser opponents = more wins.
simple as that!

And the stat isn't to mislead...do an SEC one instead and you'll see similar results. The cupcakes just add an automatic 40 more wins at night. It's not like we wouldn't and couldn't beat the cupcakes in the day, too.
Seriously, if you have time, do an SEC day and night column and I bet it;s about the same sort of disparity.
