I've only been to Ole Miss and USC and both were in the end zone.
However, looking at the UW web site it appears that our tickets in Sec 1 is so far from the end of the end zone I'm not sure what the view will be like.
I'm about to stop ordering tickets though LSU (not their fault) and try my luck at stub hubs of the world for game day tickets. My priority points aren't enough to get good games anyway.

We need to put a section or two in the South Endzone for the band, players parents and VIPs. The other seats distribute to each corner of the upper decks. Distribute the fans around the stadium.

Do you think visiting teams negotiate where there seats are gonna be in Tiger Stadium?
No, they're in the same spot every year aren't they?
So, what's the argument again?

Inever knew LSU had Obi-Wan powers over other universities' seating...especially those we play once every 26 years. Imagine!
Of the SEC schools I have visited in the past 5 years, Ole Miss's is clearly the best as far as vantage point to the field. South Carolina stuck me waaaay up in the upper deck and another large group in the top of the endzone. Still, I was on the 50 yard line. Little Rock offers almost an entire endzone, which helps unite the Tiger fans and allows for some semi-serious noise... but nowhere else.
Georgia, I hear, is the worst. Many Tiger fans have told me that. I think LSU clearly offers iyts TIger Stadium visitors excellent seats.

I have a high number of priority points, and I will need the Hubble telescope to be able to tell whether JJ or JL is playing QB for the UW game. God awful.
While we can't control what other schools hand to us, we CAN control what we give to them, and quid pro quo should be the word of the day. If you screw us, we are going to screw you. Scatter them around and give them those top rows in the corners of the upper decks.

Exactly. I wonder why LSU hasn't done this already. I'm positive if you offered some of the folks with seats in the uppers the chance to relocate to the lower bowl, they'd jump at the opportunity, even if it means paying a bit more. It would be a win/win situation for LSU.....increase the home field advantage by taking away the ability of visiting fans to impact the game, and bring in additional revenue. Has anybody ever sent an email to Herb Vincent or Joe Alleva about this?

I think that I will pose this to Alleva next time he sends me an e-mail pimping for more money. Obviously the $xx,xxx I have contributed over the past couple of years ain't buying me any favors, and the least he could do is screw the visiting fans to make me feel better.
