I missed the game, I think the first of the year for me. Should I watch the replay?

I can't believe anyone is still tuning in to watch this garbage.

I'll tune back in next year...maybe.

What is reasonable to expect from our basketball program? Is an occasional NIT the BAR we set. Why do we bother to play?

As a fan...and longtime fan...

3/5 NCAAT, 1 NIT and one reset. If we make the NCAAT maybe one run - sweet 16 or a great one.

LSU MBB fans understand that not winning a NC =/= being fricking terrible.

Watching Vandy/Mizzou. They're in OT and Memorial is jumping. Meanwhile we play in a quarter full morgue and are completely content with that. Pathetic what we allow in men's basketball.

The diabetic wonder at AD doesn’t care that most schools second biggest revenue sport is sucking dick. Baseball has massive threads for every game, women’s basketball has bigger threads.

Our stadium is basically empty and it makes no noise. Our answer is we aren’t going to fire a loser that can’t make the tourny or anyone excited

Well we were in the tournaments four straight years with a coach who was here for five years. If we were to opt out of continuing down the path with that coach, the expectation I assume should be better than that. We chose a very risky path where most likely outcome was worse position than where we were, which ironically was best position the team has been in for two decades. Results where we are today are consistent with what one should expect to downgrade from our favorable position, but probably close to worse case scenario making the decision to move on from Wade look even more foolish.

The only rationale that I’ve been able to cope with is that there were some undisclosed conversations about consequences for LSU athletics that were so massive, that this scenario with McMahon was worth potentially biting the bullet for.

Because from what I can understand, you can seriously argue that the death penalty with tPear at the helm would have us in a more promising spot right now than what we’re currently in with McMahon. Yeah it’s that bad… This program has been dead in the water for 2/3 years under McMahon

It’s just really hard to accept this much lack of foresight from the AD, there has to be more to everything that went down with Wade that we don’t know

And they were the two worst teams in the SEC last year. Vandy did a full rebuild with a new coach. Both will be dancing this year.

Vandy was a laughingstock in the SEC last year, finishing 9-23 overall! They actually lost twice to McMahon's Tigers!

This year, they're a solid tournament team with brand new coach Mark Byington. I had never heard of the guy before this season. It turned out he used to coach for James Madison of the Sun Belt!

LSU needs to look into the Sun Belt, or better yet the Southland Conference for its next MBB head coach. McMahon must geaux

We tried that before but we picked the 5th best Sun Belt Coach - so it didn't work out.
