the ONLY place we could go is the Big10. We would lose tens of millions of dollars annually on media rights anywhere else. LSU cannot afford to go independent or to anywhere other than the Big10.

To start, about a 75% loss of TV revenue. Last share amount was $73 million. For comparison the Big10 was $76 million per school.

No way LSU can make half of that as an independent or even a Big12, ACC, or PAC12 school. Soooo, no money means no premium programs

The Big 10 really wants their members to be an AAU school. LSU isn’t that.
