We're 4-4 against you because we don't give a frick. You and A&M really belong in the Big 12 because you don't bring anything to the SEC.
I consider Tulane and Rice more of a rival than Arkansas. We haven't played Tulane in a few years and Rice in about 20 years. And neither one of those teams could stay on the same field with us for four quarters. That's how little LSU fans think of your shitty program.

Time to break the boot in half and throw it in the river.

The boot is meaningless to fans, but the game is not.
I have to live up here near these pig people, and my in--laws live among them, so losses to them are much more painful than otherwise.

No, but hang on a bit.

They play us like a rival. We have trouble beating them.

Read on another thread last night that someone wished Miles would take a circular saw to the Boot and melt down Ar-Kansas's part. That's pretty funny.
I hate Arkansas, and I don't just mean the school.

LSU/Bama has naturally developed into a rivalry, I feel confident in saying. It often decides the west, which decides the SEC, which decide who of us will run for the championship. It's probably our biggest "rivalry" of this era, and I imagine it's probably up there for Bama, somewhere behind Auburn. But I can't speak for them.
Ole Miss is a classic rivalry which retains its air of intensity above most other games.
Of course, we play Florida every year, and that's always a good game.
That's about it as far as special consideration that I've noticed. Auburn is "the other tigers" and ATM has been a good annual game, but really those stem from the "every conference game is a sort of 'rivalry'" mentality.
And then there's Arky. Another week on the schedule. A team who finishes strong and plays us harder than a rock, for what reason, we couldn't say. The "rivalry" is on their end. And to that end, THEIR intensity combined with our disinterest is why they have won as often as they have. And that they win is the only reason there MIGHT be a rivalry on our end: if we care, it's because we get annoyed from losing BECAUSE we don't care.
They play hard, and sure we can respect the players and what they can do. But we don't care about the school or fans, and it's just...a filled in space on the schedule.

It had ... but it's hard to call it a "rivalry" now when they've won five straight.
We're just another speed bump to the gumps and it's up to Les Miles to change that.

Ugh. Come on, dude. That's the equivalent to saying, "Alabama doesn't lose. They only beat themselves."

When LSU wins that trophy back, and Fournette cements his Heisman campaign with 250 yards, the LSU art department should melt down that trophy and reform the metal into a caste of Fournette's shoe. Tell no one, and then reveal it at next year's game.
