You are completely wrong. ULM publicly acknowledges that they WANT to be known as ULM. Just like the link another Cajun fan posted about ULL wanting to be called just "UL," ULM has a statement specifically wanting to be called "ULM."
So there are no 2 schools WANTING to be called "UL."

Hilarious. First off, this isn't true. For several years, ULM was all too happy to wear LOUISIANA across their football helmets. I want to say it was from 2003-2006. Secondly...both schools have the ability to call themselves University of Louisiana, but only one WANTS to? Is that really your argument? That they'd PREFER to add the location rather than being known exclusively as Louisiana?
