I found this stat crazy but it’s just over 2 years since LSU and saints have won on the same weekend. At least we have Lane now, would have been no hope for the future under Bk
Last time we won on same weekend:
Saturday, September 14, 2024
LSU beat South Carolina 36–33 on the road.
Sunday, September 15, 2024
Saints beat Dallas 44–19 on the road.

My Saints and Nuss optimism after that weekend was genuinely uncontrollable

LSU gets a natty in Year 1. Saints get a top 10 pick. That’ll work for me

I live in New Orleans. Im a LSU and Saints fan and I follow Tulane..I dont have the stats but its seems the most of my life whomever plays the first 2 games of the 3 the last one is almost certain to loose on that weekend..

I know it's too early in the season, but the Saints haven't been good since Brees / Payton. The Saint's revenue will not change regardless of the record. The Dome will be sold out if they go 3-13 or 13-3.
It's very similar to the way Vegas or a bookie operates.
Ideally, a bookie prefers to break even on bets and revenue is from the juice.
Not ideal, if the Saints go 3-13, then they will have to throw big money at the #1 draft pick. Ideally, the front office prefers 8-8 keeping things status quo.

Wouldn’t the last game of the weekend always be the Saints? I guess they could play a Thursday game every blue moon.

I could not careless about the Saints or the NFL. LSU is Louisiana's football team.
