LSU adds transfer WR

Any ideas as to why we’d add this kid? Nothing personal against him but LSU is not exactly lacking in WR department. It says he also plays defense. Maybe put him at DB?

Idk if the timeline matches up, but any chance Frank recruited him to UTSA? That would seem like the obvious connection.

Frank left UTSA in 2019 and the kid was part of the 2018 class so that probably is the connection. Just seems like an odd addition right now. Unless they intend on moving him to defense. Just my theory.

This kid is actually Jarvis Landrys half or step brother, I trained him at traction when jarvis was getting ready for his pro day

I can almost guarantee y’all that we have signed 3-4 transfers since Kelly got here that most don’t even know happened.

Kelly is adding every Louisiana kid he can from the transfer portal to build relationships in the state. This kid is a walk-on I believe, but I'm sure he has friends/cousins/teammates that are legit recruits.
It's a very smart move, but it will take a couple of years to bear fruit.

Have a brother, step brother or cousin worth pursuing?
Have a good friend worth pursuing?
Comes from a school that may have potential future LSU stars that attend?
Gotta look to the future in recruiting!

Heard the interview on Moscona today. Good kid but a preferred walk-on. Don’t expect him to play much but he is Jarvis Landry’s first cousin.
