I don't mind having one scrub team on the schedule, maybe for homecoming, but it should NEVER be an FCS team. And I'm not interested so much in SOS as much as I am interested in being entertained by a game.

I do enjoy getting to see the young guys come in for a half against these types of teams. They get to experience tiger stadium from the field rather than the sidelines which I feel prepares them for future years. I also like to see us win these games convincingly.

Since our 4 non conference games are all in Sept that will be all SEC at the end of the season - I guess Bama altering schedule will totally change the SEC schedule now

LSU owes Tulane a game in the Superdome unless LSU buys it out, I figured that would be in 2012 with 7 home games

Terrible Terrible move by Athl Dept!!

Why play an FCS school?? AND IF you insist on doing it, keep the money in state and play McNeese or Northwestern again or any of the others. WHO the Frick wants to go watch LSU play Towson?!?!

LSU Tulane is done because Tulane is not coming back to Tiger Stadium unless LSU goes to New Orleans so Tulane can make their money game

I'd rather LSU schedule an away game vs. Hawaii than host Towson.

I bet we would set a new record for most away game tickets sold!

Agreed. Towson is really bad too, really bad. I'd rather play Southern or Grambling, or any of the what 6 FCS schools in state. What about Southeastern? That have, I think, about 12K students? Wasn't the reason given that they didn't play Southern is that they would not provide a competitive game? This is weak sauce.

2010: 1-10 lost 17-51 to Indiana
2009: 2-9 lost 14-47 to Northwestern
2008: 3-9 lost 13-41 to Navy
2007: 3-8 No FBS teams
2006: 7-4 No FBS teams
2005: 6-5 No FBS teams

THis is a far cry from the Appy States, and Western Illinois or McNeeses' of the world. At least Northwestern State keeps the money.

One non-con BCS team per season is enough.
