Follow up all yalls complainawhining on the Rant (About ANY LSU athletics subject) with a well thought out e-mail or letter (With correct spelling and grammar) to the LSUAD powers that can actually take action on your complaints.

All the whooping and hollering on here is just pissing in the wind.

How many games do you attend a season?

Do you host a tailgate?

Do you tailgate?

each family has to look at their budget and see what they can and can't do the next year. Most have squeezed their budget due to the economy to keep LSU tickets in there. That might not be the case

some people might be squeezed, there will be someone else to jump in their place. If LSU was struggling to sell tickets it'd be a concern. My guess, there is a waiting list or at least enough people to pick up the slack.

it is hard to swallow and it has been crammed down the customers throats

sorry the customers have butt hurt if the prices go up. Think they have problems selling tickets next year? No chance.

I know it may very well force our 15 year tailgating crew to change next year. But...it is what it is right?

Yeah, I'm sorry the university should revolve around you and your krewe of 15. Sucks if its too much for you to pay and can't do something you enjoy bt I'm sure there are alternatives.

now that's funny right there. Someone should sign up for a marketing class, see if you can figure out what the point is.

That dumpster still has to be emptied at a cost to someone (LSU). The disposal fee is based on weight. It costs to get rid of your party waste whether you put it in a dumpster or not. Multiply that times the amount of people not paying for seats, parking, RV's etc.

This is already included in the ticket price.

If I'm going to pay $40 to park, I would at least like to know that I have a spot.

+1000

why didn't they try to expand reserved parking first? I would pay for a reserved spot in the levee lot area.

- Point is everybody hates toonces.

- It has sold the most merchandise over any time period in LSU history. Coincidently, its also the winningest period in LSU football history.

- Its damn near impossible to find anything but toonces in the stores.

I got home at 6:00 last night from the OleMiss game. At 6:15 I got a call from LSU asking if they could count on my annual donation or if I would consider raising the amount that I have given in the past. I told them that my donation would be reduced by the amount that I was going to have to pay to park and bring my trailer to the games next year. The guy said that I was not the first to tell him that yesterday.

Winner on all three accounts!!!

1) Every game

2) Yes

3) Yes, again!

I have season tix in the NEZ, I PAY for an RV pass every year and I PAY for a reserved parking pass. However, instead of bitching about it, we have a great group that pitches in and cuts the total cost down to a manageable level. Something you might consider.

For ULM people couldnt even give away tickets.

Wait till Western Kentucky next season. A poor home game, late in the season, and people paying to park. Recipe for disaster!

false, I don't hate it, don't think its great by any means, but it doesn't bother me and if it really bothered people they would not buy it.

Again, thanks for making my point. You said included in the "ticket price". For how many people? There are 92,600 people that are footing the bill for garbage of how many?

The self-righteous nature of most in this thread is appalling. LSU owes you nothing. If you do not want to pay, park somewhere else. If you will not go to the games, someone else will. If the $120 will put you over the edge next year, you were not going to make it anyway and LSU games should be the least of your concern. Everyone is bitching about their wife or kids or grandparents or buddies not being able to just drive up and tailgate. They feel as though it is a tradition and LSU is stealing it from them. I say this - If your buddy/wife/kids/grandpa will not pay $20 to spend the afternoon tailgating and drinking and partying with friends, then said person was not having as much fun as you thought. To be frank, your tailgate was not worth $20 to them. I know your ego hurts when you read something like that, but you will get over it and continue coming to games and paying the money. If you don't, there is a line of people waiting to take your place who also think they are Mr. Stud Tailgater, yet they are obviously not as self-righteous as you are, so LSU will be better off anyway! /rant.

Exactly. I think it might be cheaper just to go to all the away games instead of the home ones

LSU or people that already paid for the tickets?

so you are saying people will cancel season tix because of that, or that they might not attend the game? Cause if the tickets are sold, a) LSU already has the money b) lots of people will use them rather than eat them. Attendence always was and will always be lower for crap games. I'm not sure if it changed, but in the past LSU charged the same for all games. Other schools charge more for big games.
