To all you assists that don't understand what your watching. Nuss had no chance of getting the 1st down on that 3rd innthe 1st drive. The reason he cut to the sideline was to try to stay behind the los hoping a receiver would come open. If he turns up field he picks up 3 and goes down and as soon as he crosses the line the option to throw is gone.
Just be glad he didn't try to throw back across the field and get picked.
