Disappointing, sure. We could have won this game. But face it, as far as repeating, our fate was sealed when Sa'miyah Smith went down injured on that shitty jr high court in the Caymans and Kateri Poole got dismissed. It’s really frustrating that Velez, Bartlett, and Kent weren’t good for anything but sitting on the bench with those dumb looks on their faces.
Let’s hope Georgia Amoore is wearing purple and gold next season. We have to have a real PG. It’s probably time for Angel to move on and we sure can’t run back the PG situation with Poa and HVL. I hope it’s Amoore but I’m sure Kim looks for a starting drive-and-dish PG in the portal. Thank you HVL for working hard and trying to be a team player, but it’s best for both LSU and her to part ways.
CKM has brought this program along far and fast when we are disappointed at losing in the Elite Eight. Here’s hoping and believing she kicks arse in the transfer portal.

yah HVL sucked not just this game but in many games and I'm really surprised Coach kept HVL on Clark (Flau'Jae was a better defender)
But everyone else on LSU was ice-cold shooting in the second half until the last 2 minutes
LSU had way more shot attempts than Iowa / LSU was too cold shooting / Angel's injury really slowed her down / Nobody stepped up enough / No urgency when LSU was behind / Iowa zone helped get them more rebounds / It wasn't the refs' fault
We're all surprised how the second half fell apart but it wasn't all on HVL for sure
OVERALL IT WAS STILL A KILLER YEAR for LSU WBB!

CKM had a great season. Coaching covered up a lack of outside shooting and suspect guard play.
