Two out double with the leadoff hitter on first couldn't score him?

Curiel liking those high pitches

shite. That was a great hit a few feet either direction.

Did you not see where it was hit? Usain Bolt isn’t scoring there.

Oh here we go, let's blame DC for hitting on the screws right to someone.

Hardest hit ball of the inning. Unlucky!

Where was the Serna double hit? I am confused how a fast runner cannot score from first on it with two outs.

Grand larceny. Curiel robbed of a base hit there

It didn’t get to the wall. It hit the bullpen wall and stayed shorter and the outfielder didn’t bobble it. He wouldn’t have had a prayer of scoring on that from first.

A) he’s not a fast runner
B) it was a pulled double that hit off the side wall and ended up about 35 feet from third base

Thanks. Not watching the game so following here...

If the ball had gotten into the corner they'd have sent Braun. But it hit the protruding wall and bounced back right in front of the left fielder. No way to score on that.

It was a double of the bullpen wall in shallow left field. No way that was scoring Braun. Curiel, Stanfield, or Patrick likely score easily. Probably Yamin or Rucket as well. Arrambide is a maybe. Braun and Serna are a no.
ETA: Fast guys would score only because they would be running on contact there.

Another walk, shocker. Let’s make this game harder than it already is with all the free passes.
