Do we have the record for most past balls. We need some pitchers in the portal cause these guys sucks this was a sweepable series

Will LSU or any big program grow their own pitchers going forward? I know Schmitt but will every off season result in a scramble for the best current pitchers in the portal?

Yes. Everyone always needs more pitching. And there are always guys on a roster that don’t get much mound time or don’t develop, so there will always be a scramble to replace them with guys from other teams with proven results.
The higher the ceiling for the home grown player, the longer the leash though.
