Hickey would not start for over half the SEC teams. Maybe a good sixth man or put in to press on defense. But not a legit SEC starting point guard, yet.

That's not exactly true. You're forgetting how bad the SEC is.

I hope Ole Piss goes to the big dance and gets their shite rocked. Along with Marshall "Native Flash" Henderson tearing an ACL

Stay classy. I heard there was butthurt over here but didn't realize there was praying for ACL tears.
Yep, the Tiger Rant bitter butthurt excuse makers are out in full force today. Poor little things.

LSU LOSED. DEY SAD.

Stand up and take the loss like men, not like little boys from Bunkie Middle School. Oh, wait........

Really? You think either of the teams from last year or the year before would have done the same today? Last year's team would have been blown the frick out and given up by halftime.

There is noticeable difference with this year's team. And go ahead and mark me down for getting excited about what the future brings, once the recruits start playing. The fact that Jones could put together a team with the time he had to prepare them and what he had to work with, speaks volumes.

I agree. LSU was obviously out muscled and out manned today and it showed. I believe some are underestimating the lack of talent on this year's team. I think it says alot about JJ's coaching abilities.

This wasn't JJ's best performance. It was pretty bad in fact.

The talent cupboard was bare when Jones arrived. JOB is the only legitimate SEC starter on this year's team.

Every single one of our starters could get a starting job on at least 3 other SEC teams.

frick off, douche. Today's game was the most frustrating game I've been to/watched all year. Of which, I've only missed 2 because I was working. Probably more than you can say.

I think he was referring to the season overall... I mean did anyone expect .500 in league play (even with a shitty SEC)? Anyone who says they did better bring proof because otherwise they are lying. I was thinking 5-13 or 6-12

I think a good amount of people on here were predicting (hoping?) a .500 or better season. Expectations were floored at the start of the SEC schedule for obvious reasons.

Next year will be telling for him as a coach. Will Hickey play controlled? Will we be a cohesive unit between the new guys inside and our guards?

Please link me to these people. I know what I predicted. South I think predicted either 6-12 or 7-11.

He's not the best PG in the league, but he's most certainly a legit SEC guy. While he had one of his worst games today, he's been a very good player for LSU. We wouldn't have won several games this year without him.

I'm sure there are several SEC teams not named Mizzou and Florida that would love to have him on the team.

In SEC play? I said 7 wins would be successful for this squad. I thought we'd get swept by Mizzou and Alabama
