Baseball isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon.

No...but I'm not the starting shortstop for the #1 team in college baseball

Ok that’s fair I’ll edit my thought a bit. As a stand-alone game, this was a bad loss, but in context of the series, I take 2-1 in a top 15 SEC road series all day

Context matters. Jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first and letting it slip is much different than just losing.

Wait until you find out what happened to A&M yesterday

Leah Vann

I asked Jay Johnson if he'll reevaluate the starting rotation: "I don't think so. I feel very confident and those guys are ready to execute. I think if they can get a little deeper - that'll simplify the game for us. That's what we'll go for next weekend."

Both Ty Floyd & Thatcher Hurd worked 3 1/3 innings each. #LSU

Agreed. I guess I’m just saying don’t confuse the people who are critical of today’s singular game and people who are trolling saying that we are doomed.

Seriously, all you MA's, MAMM's and Pump Lumps can take your "We'll be Fine" BS and shove it deeply where the Sun don't shine.

I want to everytime I read a WBF......

It isn’t just this umpire. They’ve been horrible all weekend. Friday was bad and he was the most consistent /inconsistent umpire of the series. We just beat them because we’re the superior ball club and it’s not close with out these cross eyed bitches in black.

Our home umpires better be the most bias of every school in the SEC because we are going to be treated like this all year, simply because we’re that good. At this point, home-plate needs to be called by digital computers anyway. They can still call the game but they can call what the computer says it is and frick their bias arse. Football should be the same way. We’d beat the crap out of these teams. And I’m so tired of people saying, we shouldn’t leave it in the umpires hands and then at the same time tell everyone it’s a game of inches. Well if it’s a game of inches then an official can make a huge difference in a game and they do. Having a 4x4 strike zone for LSU players but then 1X1 zone for the figs.

That team isn’t close to us and we should have swept! It was very clear who the better team was. They rapped our pitchers and some of our best hitters in this series. When LSU home umpires start taking games away from some of these national teams, that’s when they’ll change it, not until then so let’s get with it. I’m sick of being cheated and our best teams having to fight off the bias in all these officials!

Dude stfu! These 3 games were some of the worst ball / strike calls I’ve seen in at least several years! If you call LSU players out and give A&M players the call then you going to get walks. The only thing our pitchers can do is pitch the ball straight down the middle, so they did that and got hit when we were forced to do so. A&M was not forced to do that and got calls down and on the edge consistently. That will get you beat and that will affect any pitcher or hitters ability to perform their job at this high level. It has nothing to do with losers mentality because the umps sucked in game 1 and 2 but we still won the games. It’s hard to win 3 games with that type of home plate call. We need to be able to watch these games digitally and see how much was taken from us and given to them, then penalize any umpire that could have altered the game result with his calls. One or two missed both ways is fine but this was very slanted towards A&M all weekend.

Even the commentators on LSU radio said the strike zones were tiny.

LSU is a good baseball team, not an overwhelming team, but good. Overwhelming teams win a CWS. Hitting is good, fielding good, but that bullpen is lacking the arms needed for the stretch.

That third game loss against a struggling Aggie team revealed LSU's weakness.

This struggling Texas A&M team is pretty good and will probably beat the crap out of tenner.
