When you consider where North Texas basketball was before Jones got there, it's pretty impressive they won anything. They were the laughing stock of the Sun Belt.

Ehh..10 out of his 11 seasons he had 11 or more losses and only 2 NCAA appearances. He wasn't exactly setting the word on fire. Probably a reason he was at North Texas for 11 years.

None of that qualifies him to be the coach at LSU. He was at NTU for 11 years because no other big school wanted him. LSU bidded against nobody for his services.
