He’s right. A lot of those Ks were looking on 96 mph Floyd fastballs on the black. Floyd was fricking dealing. Wake’s discipline was laying off Hurd’s filthy sliders just off the plate with 2 strikes. Most right handed hitters would have whiffed on those and headed back to the dugout. A normal team would have struck out 20 times last night.

I been saying it all year that our best DH was catching and Travinski truly does over emphasize every frame. Should only be the width of your fist. If you do it all the time, especially the mit width, you get few close pitches.
