That may be so.

But I'd put the people taking time to collect receipts and start threads calling out negative comments a step above.

He has not been lately. He's definitely not on par with where he was before the past 3 outings. He's elevating more pitches and hanging offspeed that teams are hunting. It seems they scouted him and are looking for his change up that he seems to be having problems consistently locating like he was able to do before the past few outings.

I definitely wouldn't call him "dominant" his past 3 outings.

LSU has two and a half relievers this season. Cowan is one of them. Evans is the other. Noot is the half. Noot pitched. Evans wasn't going to be pitched tonight. Who do you bring in?
Rizy?

That has nothing to do with sunshine pumping or refusing to acknowledge the well-known flaws this team has. You can do that without being a bitch who’s here just to shite on the team. You aren’t a fan. You’re just another a fricking troll.

This. Obviously the goal is to win the series and leave no doubt, but I think we’re top 8 even taking 1/3. Gonna be a hell of a scene around here, though.

LSU has a weak schedule in comparison to other conference opponents.

They also got the lucky draw for home series.

So what are you saying?

That was a totally embarrassing loss. Starting Ware was mistake one. Curiel's lack of hustle which turned into his getting thrown out at third was mistake two. Continuing to go to Cowan even when he has been hammered lately was mistake three. Not pinch hitting for Johnson when PM brought in a lefty was mistake four. Curiel should have caught the fly ball that ended up being a triple, the final mistake that led to the SC victory. This is totally unacceptable.

Johnson?? That wasn't Curiel in LF in the 9th, it was Pearson. Your comment is totally unacceptable.

Was thinking the same thing reading that post. Brown and Pearson both had terrible plays at the wall in back to back innings. Braswell running like a 300 lb lineman earlier in the game and not sliding into the bag was a joke. Curiel doing the same two batters later was even worse. Two extra runs taken off the board. Braswell misplaying the ball at third was also another big moment in the game giving them their first "hit." After that Cowan just looks like he's losing it the last three weeks. He's getting roped consistently. And that final run wasn't on Arrambide. The ball bounced in the far batter's box. Even if he weren't on one knee, it's going to be tough getting a body in front of that.

Texas didn't? They should've lost to LSU as well. Jay pretty much handed Texas game 2.

Nearly identical comments were made in 2023 when we struggled through the last few SEC series. Literally every team is imperfect, that why we’re #1 right now despite having some flaws.

You don't know what you are talking about.

You better go through my post history before you come with this shite.

This is fricking bullshite. I'm here most every game. I cheer and praise when we do well.

frick off

Tell me why I’m wrong on this. They have been bad at the plate for a while now.

SCe is the second worst pitching staff in the conference, but even against such a crappy staff, LSU struggled to score runs.

LSU is 1-6 in their last 7 road games, and 5-8 overall. The last two SEC road series, LSU is 1-3 (so far) against teams that outside of playing LSU are 13-40 in conference. If they don’t win the next two games, they likely don’t get a top 8 seed unless they go on a SEC tournament run and the committee cares.

I will, and after the first one I’m comfortable saying we all enjoyed laughing at you negative SOB’s.

Serious question though….what is it you achieve by running down a bunch of 20 year olds for having a bad night playing baseball? What is it in your psyche that makes you feel better to be so negative?

False that was a very good hitting team with a guaranteed win in the mound. It’s not even close and Jay would say the same

I'm not guaranteeing it, but the committee has shown they really like to use conference standings and RPI as a basis.

Auburn losing tonight helps LSU a lot.
