I think it’s more that Neal is an everyday player and they don’t view Larson as that right now. Neal need those reps more than Larson because he will be playing more than him. If you have to choose between Neal and Larson you are obviously choosing Neal. This lineup give Larson his needed at bats and also gives Neal his needed reps in RF.
