He had Jones sit a couple of games. It was a good call for a freshman in a slump. Unless you are going to sit him the rest of the year, he needs to get back in the box again. It wasn't a bad decision to PH him there.

I hate matchup coaching. Coaches these days seem to overmanage that. Good hitters can hit both sides of pitching, and Pearson sort of found his groove this weekend.
