No it’s not.
You have to get some sweeps when you get a chance.
The goal is to host regionals in the postseason. You don’t do that playing .500 ball in the SEC. So when you lose 2 of the first 3 SEC series, you need to get a sweep somewhere to get back on track.
Having said that I have no problem going all out to win a game that you are leading 4-3 in the 8th inning.

LSU will probably not host a regional they would have to go 19-11 in SEC play for that to happen and i dont see it.

That’s not true. We’ve hosted regionals winning 17 conference games multiple times. 19 SEC wins and you talking a possible national seed.
