You don't need a dual threat guy. Just someone with a little mobility which Nuss has but refuses to do because he doesn't want to get hit and he trusts his arm. The problem is he has bomb or bust approach. Sometimes he makes stupid throws into double coverage instead of taking the check down. Nothing wrong with doing that. But you have to realize at some point that you need to take what the defense is giving you. And to see when something isn't working and go with what does. I get being confident but you gotta realize when your play is hurting your team and adjust. Once Nuss does that he'll be really good.
