IMHO though, Im more confident in LSU making a run in the tournament than NC State.

Don't play these tournaments because it exposes us? This wasn't Duke and Michigan State. We lost to teams that already have 2 losses on the year.

Blakeney shot us right out of this game and Gray helped give it away.
Even though Simmons being out of the game was because of BS, this team needed that to see who would help Quarterman finish the game.
I hope Victor is as good as advertised and Hornsby can live up to the hype people are creating.

I really think LSU will be a borderline top 25 team again late in the season when Hornsby and Victor are in.
State will probably stay unranked and maybe finish like 6th in the ACC.
Im thinking a 7 seed for LSU and a 9 for State.

Sometimes hard to see in person- but on TV did it look like the game was called well? I only ask because they were in the double bonus with about 5 minutes to go in the second half (maybe earlier but that's when I noticed) and they only had 5 fouls called the entire second half + overtime. I know we were playing some bad basketball, but that's quite a discrepancy in the number of fouls.
I hope this trip serves as a wake up call for this team and coaching staff. If Simmons thinks he can coast through SEC play and not hurt his draft stock a little he's mistaken. Of course he did have a horrible night and still ended up with a double double before he fouled out.

JJ gottta get this team aware of their roles. Ben cannot start the game or any game off like He did tonight. He can never have a showing like tonight again. This team wont go anywhere if Simmons dont take the game over or assert himself early on.
