look, i'm not going to argue a bunch of meaningless BS with you as it doesn't really matter that much, but I keep getting drawn in (the paid trolls really are money well spent by chicken). I need to put it aside and get on with the day and stop wasting time on here. I'm just looking forward to the 2019 season and am happy with the direction and outlook for the program as of right now.? ? ?

Well all your excuses got shot down.
We had better losses by less points and finished with a better sec record. Just admit you're biased.

You said the losses were worse. They werent.
It amazing you base how good a season is on how many games OTHER PROGRAMS lose.

We also finished higher and with a better sec record.
Thats something you used last year to explain why a 4 loss season was actually a good season.

He acts like he is above the fray but ive seen him attack you on numerous occasions for no reason at all.

Its never good enough unless youre elated with the 2018 season and 2018 offense. The only thing that is allowed to be questioned is the players and aranda.

I guess that's what we get with a bunch overly passionate LSU fans. The success of the teams is so important to us all that some see the teams as much better or much worse than they really are. I know I'm guilty of both. I'm not sure any of us are unbiased or completely objective at all when comes to LSU sports, especially football.

i'm sure a&m 72 points or whatever is affecting that average..

that game should have been over before OT and at that point both defenses were gassed.

we still put up 0 points against Alabama at home..

that's ridiculous

Everyone knows that 7 ot game is the reason the averages are so high.
We basically got 14 games worth of production in 13 games.
The day before a&m we were at 384 ypg.
And 27.8 ppg.

The dishonesty of some people is why these long drawn out debates happen.

When you call them out on it though, you get called a negatiger.

ISWYDT

Judging by all the down votes you got, I guess many others didn't.

cry me a river. Facts are facts. What was your excuse for the 2016 offense under Ensminger?

What will your excuses be after the 2019 season, bitches?

relax brotha. I like E more than most, but I don't think it's fair to use the ppg stat when we scored 41 points outside of regulation in one game. I actually thin E did a really good job of spreading things out and that will improve even more with the addition of Brady and a more experienced roster. However, I do NOT think last year was the prime example of a good offense, and we need to continue to make large strides in the offseason to get where we need to be.

I wonder what your expectations were then on offense. They returned zero production, a brand new QB, ol coach, and oc. Not to mention they lost their best OL prior to the season due to suspension, and top TE to injury.

I appreciate the points you make. And hopefully those are the reasons we didn't perform as I hoped. This season will be telling.

To answer your question: I expected better offensive production against some of the lesser OC foes; better scoring against Bama and a more dynamic passing game.

You list the teams we outscored. I'm happy about that. But I want to outscore the team that finished at the top.
