It was a bad call, he didn’t interfere, and slide before he got to the bag.. but they weren’t going to overturn it

I don’t believe you are right. I don’t like the call and it his slide had no impact, but if he slides into the middle of the bag, there is no call. My point is the outside slide opened the door for the call, but did nothing for us.

That call was an ump LOOKING for something to call instead of letting the play happen. He was on his knee looking at the base from 2 feet away trying to get on tv
