As opposed to flipping out over a 5 game sample size.

This may be the most ironic post I’ve read on this board in weeks.

Right. We’re gonna win it all! So sorry I don’t blindly think we’re perfect.

Mr. Binary. Either we have to suck or win it all 5 games into the season. This place never ceases to amaze.

No one said this team is perfect. Not sure why you would jump to that extreme? Are you incapable of seeing any middle ground?

You’ve gone from claiming you’ve seen this team’s ceiling at the plate, 5 games into the season on February 19, to claiming the team is perfect.

Again I must ask, have you ever actually followed a season of college baseball in your life?

But no chance LSU gets better though, right? Have we ever seen a Mainieri team start slow and finish strong? You said you've been following LSU baseball for a long time.

I AM the one on middle ground. I said its too early to panic (or something like that). But you think any objective criticism is out of bounds. And again- trust me- I’ve been following college baseball probably alot longer than you. I was at games in the early to mid 80s.

I am sure it’s been mentioned multiple times throughout this thread but how the frick do we lose to nickel state? Honestly? How the frick does this happen… With regularity?

First I'm hearing of it. Can you list our record vs Nicholls going back to 1990 so we can make an accurate comparison?

Objective criticism? Absolutely not.

quote:

this team is offensively challenged and doesn’t have a real high ceiling

quote:

You really think this team is above average offensively come April?

Claiming you’re already able to determine the low ceiling this team has, 5 games into the season on February 19? Yes, that I’m going to point and laugh at.

Also, always love when people post things like this:

Wouldn't that be awesome? It's just not the Mainieri way and every year people freak out at the beginning of the season like clockwork.

Doubtful. If you knew you were at game 3 on Saturday, like I was, you’d know we didn’t play a game on Sunday, like I do.

Thanks for the clarification, mensa.

And syntax gets easier if you can lay off the sauce and fried food. Jesus, the stupidity on this board never ceases to amaze.
