Let's do this! I'll be streaming this one, so there will be a BPB delay compared to CST.

Interesting switch of Dugas to third. Did he play any third base last year? I don't remember.

Am I the only one that isn't pumped about Cabrera being leadoff?

I like that line up a lot. That’s the most power we’ve had in a line up in a loooong time baws

No. I know it is a foreign concept but you can not like something and not blame someone at the same time.

I hope Gio gets hot or Hampton does is about all I see to change it.

I know it's really really early but damn it's hard not to get excited about this lineup. And we already know the pitching is there. If this team can get the defense settled in by tournament time.....I feel like this team is special

I don’t see a problem with Cabrera leading off. He gets on base. He has a great eye and can hit for both average and power with enough speed to put pressure on the defense.

We have Beloso and Garza in the 4 and 5 hole. It’s a blessing to be able to have a hitter of Cabrera’s caliber in the leadoff spot. An absolute embarrassment of riches.

He doesn’t fit the prototype but with the big bats in lineup, we can get away with it

The prototype of leadoff hitters has been shifting over the last 5-10 years. Take George Springer for instance. He’s a long way away from the old prototype. The game has changed you don’t necessarily want a guy who hits singles and is speedy in the leadoff spot.

You want a guy who can get to second. It’s getting harder and harder to score a guy from first these days.

I was surprised at the move but I'm willing to give it a chance. If it doesn't work out, it will change. I see no downside to experimenting at this point in the season.
