Sorry but this team isn’t going far this year. Weak at SS, C, and pitching staff. Sometimes they put things together sometimes not. Most importantly they give up too many unearned runs by mental and physical mistakes. I just don’t see any situational awareness. Too many times the infield looks shocked when the ball is hit at them. I don’t think they think on every pitch. If the ball is hit to my left, where do I go? Or my right? Or a slow roller or hard hit at me? They just don’t communicate very well and that leads to mental mistakes. Morgan can not save this team alone on defense. Sure they’ll get hot a game or two and then go dain bread the next one. I see a bunch of good individuals but not a solid team. CJJ has his work cut out for him next year.
