frick YEAH JAKE!!!! So huge that it was against a lefty, too.
He let it travel like somebody mentioned earlier. After a pretty poor swing on the 1-0 pitch, great adjustment. How he hits lefties this year in conference play is going to be huge.
Nice job by DC letting it travel himself. I thought for sure that was getting out.
Now, we HAVE to get him home somehow. Runner on 3rd with no outs, cannot leave him stranded.
