I do think that's being very optimistic (but not impossible!).
But can you imagine even having this discussion before the season started?
I had the team sitting close to the bottom of the SEC, if not AT the bottom.
I think the team has over-achieved, considering what they have to work with. I'm impressed.

Yea I don't think we would get into the tournament with 11 wins, but it would be close. To get to 11 wins we would have to beat some Alabama, Ole Miss, Mizzou types so its not like we would have a terrible resume. Those 3 losses are holding us back, but if we finish 3rd or 4th in the SEC (which 11 could do) I think we would be on the bubble.

Maybe SOS, but realistically I'm looking at the schedule and seeing 8-10 at and if we attain that I think that's in line with our talent in relation to the teams top-to-bottom in the SEC.

Anything better IMHO is gravy and I thnk an overachievement and I would be happy. Less and I'd be a bit disappointed and looking back at a couple of those early games we let slip.

17-12 and 8-10 has been my goal all year long. I think if we can win tomorrow, we have a fantastic shot to finish .500

Yep, I see those coming back to haunt us.
And, as my husband is constantly saying, "Why didn't we press against S. Carolina?"

I just want to be in the post season but I think Bama won't be able to break our press much like a&m couldn't they don't like to play like that so I think we get into a hole and we start pressing at the end we will stage a comeback and win!

8 wins are what I thought LSU would get prior to SEC play, and right now that certainly looks possible. The only early game that really was a "bad" loss was S. Car. Hopefully that doesn't come back to haunt LSU.

Although Bama isn't what I'd call a great team, they're 6-3 in conf. If LSU can win there (a place they haven't won in forever), it would be the best win of the season to date as far as I'm concerned.

Alabama will be up for us at home. They will play hard and I predict another helter skelter game with poor shooting on both sides. As usual I think there are two keys for us. Steals and three point shots. For this game I will throw in another one. Andrew Del Piero needs to continue his play from last game and be "big" for us. I am not sure why he didn't get in the second half after playing such a great first half. I hope it is not any kind of injury.

I agree Tom. I think that last game they just played had to be humbling and embarrassing. Makes me think they'll come out with a big chip on their shoulder with something to prove.

I think Bama is a better matchup for ADP than some other SEC opponents. And teams don't double ADP like they do JOB3, so he'll have some opportunities when in there. Up to him to take advantage of whatever opportunities he gets.

I'm with you on this too. I think teams like Mizzou and Kentucky weren't good fits for him, but Vandy and Bama I think are a bit better. I would not have had a problem with him getting a second half chance vs. Vandy. I've heard of no injury.

Our post play has been a frustration for me this year. I think that both could be better (and even the guards could get in on the action) but our base play always runs a swingman right in front of the low post. I kinda get what CJJ is trying to do, but the swing man comes over too quick or the in bound is too late and you wind up with a crowded and frozen post. I wish we would run more isolations or just tell the swing man to wait a few extra seconds before he comes over to the ball side.
