Also if we somehow got to 11 or 12 wins they would notice how hot the team has to be to get there. I think that would give us some bonus points over some.

It would be a great problem to have

Another reason to hate Trent Johnson... If we would have played the available 13 non-conference games, we could look a lot more "sexy". Even if they were against scrubs, we could have 2 more wins. a 15-7 team right now would look much better.

shite a 22 win team would be tough to hold out of the tournament.

While I understood what he was trying to do most of the time while he was here, I do not understand not filling out your schedule.

Yea I was all for giving him time. You could say I was a pro-TJ person (really more of a pro LSU Basketball guy) but this makes zero sense. There is nothing bad that could come from 2 extra games. I just don't get it.

Good luck tomorrow. I don't know whether to predict a win or loss because I don't know if the team has quit on Grant or vice versa, but what happened at Auburn was the worst performance I can ever recall from Alabama in my lifetime.

Nice to see a bamafan chime in. I enjoyed Ms Garrison coming in during Auburn prep. I am really hopeful LSU can get Bama stuck in a rut, but they will probably come in focused after that performance. We shall see. to no injuries!

I think Bama should be about a 7 point favorite so it would be a big win for the Tigers,

First line out that I see is Bama -8.5 = WAAAYYY to high in my opinion. Especially for a team that doesn't score very much.

I saw that the consensus spread just moved to Bama by 7 ponts as you predicted. Seems more realistic.

ETA: LSU wins it, of course.

I obviously know you're a little disappointed this season, but what are your thoughts going into this one?

Paper this morning said 2004.

Oddly enough against their one and only Elite 8 team. LSU also holds the record for largest margin of victory against Alabama in Tuscaloosa whether Coleman Coliseum or the old Foster Auditorium: 93-60 in 2000.

Well I think we will win. I'm sure it'll be ugly and low scoring like the rest of our games but I do think(hope) we bounce back and have a lot better effort than Wednesday.

How has Bama been against a press this year?

LSU has one of the better presses in basketball imo.

I can't remember us playing against a hardcore press except for VCU and they killed us. I think teams have used it in short spurts but it wasn't a problem other than at VCU.

Well I hope LSU keeps with it. When they have, they have looked really solid. I think it's the key to this game. Keeps Bama out of half court defense and moves the game much faster than Bama would like. I noticed they had lost their fast games this season besides their div 2 game.
