The L.A. Sheriffs office and local politicians already came out and said these orders will not be enforced
Its over. Not even liberal L.A. is listening to the local health dept anymore

For people who aren't at risk, this is probably 99% of the reason they got the vaccine. So yeah, you don't sounds as smart as you think you do with your sneering.

Move it to Dallas and let’s frick them up in Jerry World.
I've seen this posted several times at this point. That's not in the realm of possibility is it?
Worst case scenario is LSU plays UCLA in an empty Rose Bowl. I see no reason why UCLA would move this game. There is nothing forcing them to. It is their home game and not tied to any sort of kick off classic.

The vaccine does not protect you from contracting it. You can very well be a carrier. I’m sure this has been said to you 1 million times over the past year. A mask will help/limit the possibility of transmitting it to an unvaccinated person who could potentially wind up in the hospital and perish.
Roger you are better than that man.

Ok but vaccines are readily available and free.
If you’re unvaccinated that’s your choice

If someone's unvaccinated, that's their calculated risk. They've had ever opportunity to get vaccine.

I agree 100000 percent with that but so do we just fill hospitals up and overwhelm them? That’s a big goal as well.

I hope it is played with 100% capacity--always wanted to go to game at Rose Bowl.

Here is what I am afraid of.
LA County and/or Pasadena officials see that there are 15,000 to 25,000 people coming in from an unenlightened, unvaccinated red state and decide to keep that from happening.
(I am vaccinated, btw. But I ain't wearing a mask in no damn stadium. But it may not matter. They ain't letting in the unwashed horde.)

There is no shot they will get overwhelmed now that 60% is vaccinated

You're being overly dramatic. But unvaccinated should be at bottom rung for ICU beds, unless they have a documented medical reason for not getting vaccine. Again, your scenario is very unlikely.

Then that unvaccinated person should have gotten vaccinated.
It is not the government's responsibility.

The whole point of getting the vaccine is for protection against the virus. In other words, once you get the vaccine, it's over for you. A governmental agency telling you still need to mask up even if you are vaccinated suggests it ain't over for you (meaning that you can still contract it or spread it). While there are breakthrough cases, those are extremely, extremely rare. Masking vaccinated individuals is theater.
So suggesting to people that even if they get vaccinated, it aint over for them, is probably not the smartest way to encourage vaccinations.
