We will see vs Auburn if what we think about this team is true. Even is the Win or Lose it will be how they do it that is going to be telling.

As I posted, there are 350 teams in D1 basketball. Most of those teams have been playing creampuffs. In NET rankings, LSU is #3. That ranking algorithm takes into account every teams opponents. Right now we are among the elite, as adjusted for EVERYONE'S schedule.

This dude just doesn't understand these are strength of schedule adjusted for every team based on the opponents schedule. We have the number 1/2 defense based on strength of schedule.

There are adjusted efficiency ratings that take that into account as well if that is your issue....LSU still ranks quite well in those.
Auburn is gonna challenge all that for sure, but I know one thing right now, these kids will play hard for the full 40 minutes and they are legit on the defensive end - I've seen enough to believe that.

He forgot to put offensive before one of the rebounding stats. We’re 12th in total rebounds 37th in offensive rebounds per sports reference which maybe off so I’m guessing we’re ranked 40 in offensive rebounds.

This is just objectively wrong.
According to Warren Nolan, statistically we have played the 12th hardest strength of schedule out of like 300 freaking ncaa schools. Tennessee is the only SEC school that has had a harder schedule than us

The Sisters of the Poor comment is a retarded statement when Lunardi has 5 of the teams LSU beat in his tournament projection and LSU has beaten those teams by a combined 100 points.
I have no doubt that LSU is a legit team based on the consistent style of elite play that I have seen defensively, their serious athleticism on offense and their really good free throw shooting. They need to improve their outside shooting and take smarter long shots when they do decide to shoot from out there, but I've seen enough to know that this team is going to be really good and cause headaches for a lot of teams with how they play.
