I think people here are just bitching because Arkansas has had LSU's number over the last several years. People wouldn't have as much a problem with it if the tables were turned. I personally like it because there are only a few games on that day so it is showcased. It also gives you the chance to watch all of the games on Saturday.

For those of us who have faith in the Tigers winning the SEC West, understand the importance of an extra day off before the SCCG and also comprehend that Arkansas is operating on the same short week we are, this is good news indeed. "Fans" who complain about things like this just because it doesn't fit into their own personal schedule have 10 months to make it fit in or cry in their beer.

i don't hate friday - i just hate cbs. but, apparently, we are going to get vern & gary no matter what day of the wkend we play. also, it sux that it's always a day game. do vern & gary & cbs not work @ night?

I'm bitching and have been to the last four Arky Games and the last 6 in Tiger Stadium. Lot easier to get to Little Rock two days after than the day after thanksgiving.

LSU did not have a choice... I know Auburn did not want the game on a Friday, but you have to follow the CBS contract... The good news for LSU/aRkie is they can only make you do it for two years... Possible they then go back to Auburn/Alabama

We didn't compete with the Iron Bowl in 2009 either. Remember, they took our normal Friday spot.
