quote:I very rarely chime in on specifics of how to bounce a basketball. Alt and others have that well covered, but this is spot on.
there is little movement away from the ball/confusion on where to go and guys with the ball just dribbling to spaces with no real plan, only to pick up their dribble with nowhere to go and nowhere to pass out of trouble
If the turnover issue was limited to just a few games or even just one season you could attribute it more to the players. But when it has been a huge issue for going on three seasons now with almost entirely new rosters every year you have to search for common denominators to find the root cause
There is no plan with the dribble penetration we do over and over - and we've turned over the roster 2+ times now and turnovers are our most consistent attribute. Yet, some poster, the amalgamation of mcpuffgrath literally said we lost Vandy due to turnovers, yet it has nothing to do with coaching.
Everyone should laugh at that.

If LSU loses tonight, then there is a chance they start league play at 0-7. Just a brutal schedule coming up.

Btw, Tenn is down 10 right now @FLA, this is a good time to jump on Tenn - if you're a degenerate.
ETA: It's 14 now. Even a better time to jump on Tenn. Just sayin.

That looks like a small arena. LSU... has got this -- in the bag!

Missouri finished 0-19 last year, yet they still have their coach and are a seven point favorite at home.
Too soon to bale on McMahon. He and the Tigers will be rolling in high cotton-- someday.

I guess I’m just not a big enough bball fan to have the purple and gold glasses blind me like the bball poster experts here but the struggles this team will have the remainder of the season were obvious early on. To go from the worst turnover team in the league last year to an even worse handling team this year against the OOC schedule we played was never going to be a formula for success against the juggernauts in the SEC. Tonight’s a must win in that if they don’t win the ceiling is 5 conf wins

Missed the Vandy game and the highlights on youtube were jacked up. Anyways, from what I hear they are an annoying defense, and always prepared to play.
So im taking tigers in this game by 7. Coach has done nothing but improve the program since he's been here. I'm on the same boat as everyone else about the absence of williams time. However, I would rather get givens\silk jr experience early in the season then to throw them to the wolves if someone gets hurt mid sec. We have a better team this year than last, facts. Overall the team is young with the Ward\reed losses. They are going to need stay together and fight through losses. Still have them fighting for 500 in sec.
Start tonight.

Home court advantage matters in college basketball. On Saturday SEC home teams won collectively by an average of 20 points, and almost every home team won….almost

Brother it’s time to be realistic this is the worst team in the entire SEC playing a team who hasn’t lost a single game at home.

For now, I prefer to be optimistic. I take that from one of my fav posters.
