The talent has always been there. Props to O for getting the right dudes in place and letting coaches coach.

No one is winning a NC with CEH as their #1 option at RB.

It ain’t all CEH man. Our line is having some trouble with run blocking. I agree he’s not the best back but he’s sustainable. We get a few minor issues cleaned up with the Oline run blocking and he’ll be fine.

You’ll get downvoted but this is 100% true. Our level of success is dependent on how much Emery and Davis-Price break out. We can be great with what CEH brings to the table, but we won’t be the best in the country unless we have a true home run threat on the ground. It is what it is

ETA: the last 5 national champions’ running backs were: Ezekiel Elliott, Derrick Henry, Wayne Gallman (with Deshaun Watson as another primary runner), Josh Jacobs, and Travis Etienne

CEH would do much better taking handoffs from under center with a FB. This offense doesn’t help his skillset much running the ball. The Saints play under center sometimes, but have we had one meaningful snap under center this season?

Agreed!

People on here are having a hard time believing this because they are blinded by the passing game. He's a solid RB but he's not a featured RB. There will be a time where we're going to have to lean on the running game a little bit.

Rather have a beast passing attack any day over a running game

Our lack of a running game is going to be a problem. Can't be so one dimensional against good teams.

Utah St is the Fresno St of the mid 2000's. They aren't great, but are a gritty team that will win a few they aren't supposed to

How is he “clutch”?
How do you know if he’s the best in this offense if we haven’t seen the others in like scenarios?

You need to study up on punctuation.

It ain’t the back it’s the line blocking for them.
