He is taking some not so great 3s. Too many times jacking one up with a hand in his face with 15 on the shot clock

Yesterday was a bad Days day. He has some good ones but yesterday wasn’t one of them. He’s so much better when he plays inside the 3 point line and doesn’t instead only hang out behind the 3 point line and launch 3s all game. He’s had some games this season where he’s worked teams over close to the goal. Like Florida: 9-14 from the field and just 1-3 from 3.

2-11 shooting. 8 of those shots were 3s and he was 2-8.

This is retarded, you want one of senior leaders on the bench?

Days has earned his right to be out there.

I don't love it but those were all open looks and some days they just don't go in.

We're lucky it didn't cost us the game last night. Wade needs to greaux a pair and put an end to that $hat.

Started the second half 1-10 going 0-7 from three. That's when MSU made the big run.

Yesterday just wasn't his day overall on offense. He tried to play inside the three point line and was called for three charges, missed a shot from 1.5 feet in front of the rim and overshot it with the ball barely clipping the rim, and missed another layup off the backboard. He was struggling yesterday. Thankfully, he hit the three when it mattered the most.

That's how all is shots are. He's 6'7" - not like a 6'0" guard - he shoots over the defense like Chuck Person. Days can shoot.

35% is average in 2022...... He has been a tremendous disappointment
So avg 3pt %, leading rebounder and #2 scorer is disappointing.
I can find a few on roster more worthy of your critique.

Eason leads the team in rebounding in conference play

Days is t3rd in PPG, with Eric Gaines, behind Brandon Murray.

I mean that is a pretty far cry from a guy people were saying could be the best player on a Final 4 team back in November.

This team doesn’t have anyone close to the play making skills of Smart & Mays, thus Days is forced to play a role he simply doesn’t have the talent to play.

I think that Pinson when he is healthy is a very good play maker. The problem is that even when he drives Days isn't open. The other teams know he is one of our key offensive players and stick with him. And when Skylar and Smart were here they had lots of options to go to from Naz to Cam who could also get their own shot if necessary.

I think at times that's true but I thought he was open plenty last game and he had several open 3's and I had no issue with him taking because they were in rhythm catch and shoot - all of them, he just missed 6 of the 8. In fact probably the most contested one he took was the last one that he made.

Not from the corners he doesn’t. If he shoots only from the top and sides of the KEY his percentage probably goes up 7-10%. He’s a nightmare from the corners though and has been his entire career. He’s a workhorse inside but Wade lets him get away with not working it in.

A staple of LSU basketball. Only we used to have a few guys who could shoot well enough to get away with it.

Depending on which thread I have made this statement, I either get 50 upvotes, or 50 downvotes. I'm not sure what to make of that but, whatever the case, it would be nice if LSU ran some actual offense, especially with a big lead, once in a while.

He got our hopes up after that big opening game. Lots of bad shooting stretches since then. He seems to do better when he goes inside early & gets a couple of buckets to get going.

The optimistic fan in me hopes he'll realize he's a senior and this is it when postseason gets here. And maybe he'll zone in like Derrick Taylor and Don Redden in 1986.
