For whatever reason, Jones seems to more successful with less talent

Then when he gets the talent, he doesn't have a clue for some reason

Mussleman is a good coach, smart guy

This team is legit. That’s LSU hardest test so far.

LSU’s Achilles heel on defense continues to be an inability to consistently stop dribble penetration.

It’s been a problem since Jones and has gotten marginally better under Wade.

Many times tonight I would have preferred defenders stay glued to the 3 point shooter instead of trying to come over and double the ball handler.

It was obvious the goal was to penetrate and kicknout for 3’s. LSU played right into it.

If we hold teams to under %40 shooting and turn them over as much as we did tonight we are gonna have a good season.

Should have been a double digits win even without Naz. Shooting ourselves in the foot this game with FTs and missing open 3s. But these are pains I can deal with in November.

Charleston is gonna be another decent team, get some rest and get ready to own turkey week.

For those freaking out about winning a close one against LaTech, I watched #2 KU struggle with ULL at the same time.

La Texh beat Wichita St by double digits on the road and have been a better program than us the last 5 years. LSU shot terribly from 3 & the FT line. Naz Reid was a non-factor and honestly a detriment and still found a way to beat a team that will be playing postseason basketball.
