Honestly people from Jennings have an excuse, if they are also Bama fans then there’s no excuse for that

Quite a few of them sitting at home wearing those ugly Bama jerseys. Moses, Smith are a couple. I love it.

People from Jennings pulling for Etienne is forgivable. If LSU was playing Ohio State, lots of people in Athens, Ohio would be pulling for LSU.

Supporting Etienne and hoping for a good game on his part is understandable. Pulling for Clemson and against LSU is not. If an American enlisted in the German Army during WWII, you don't pull for the Germans.

I guess I would be classified as one except for the state of Texas. Live and raised in Texas but big LSU fan. Hate Texas but pulled for A&M until they joined the SEC still pull for TCU unless they were playing LSU. Became an LSU fan in early 90's when I sent my son to several Skip Bertman baseball camps. My son and grandsons are big LSU fans and can't stand Texas also. My dislike for Texas started when I went there for a visit because I wanted to go to college there. Found out how snobbish everyone was - end of story.

I mean, I grew up in Alabama and always root against UA (unless it benefits LSU). I have no other reason for doing so other than hating them. Seems the same.

At last there’s a significant downtick in brand new bama stickers on LA vehicles this year.

Do you all run across these losers? I work with a few people who are pulling for Clemson this weekend for no other reason than they do not like LSU. They can't give me a reason why. I also have a few Facebook friends that I never talk to who are Alabama fans, but closest relationship they have to Alabama is visiting Gulf Shores once every few years. These people are the worst to me.

i'm native BTR. lifelong Tiger fan.
i live in Mississippi now and worked with gumps for over 10 years.
only a couple actually native Alabama. the rest were bandwagon gumps.
had to avoid any conversations about buma football.
shallow when it came to any content of the game.

Got a cousin about 25 years younger than I. Very anti-LSU; he attended SLU (didn't graduate) and has always cheered for Texas. His latest thing is saying Joe Burrow is overrated. Annoys me to no end.

I have to give him a little slack; his dad (one of my favorite uncles) died right before my cousin went to high school.
