For the love of all that is holy, let the tiger thing go. No one even gave a shite while he being dragged around the stadium, and no one cares now. Even one tax dollar spent on this is a waste of time and resources.

Shouldn’t the discussion be about releasing our current abused tiger? Zero tigers on campus needs to be our focus here. Every weekend I see posts about the stadium being empty by half time especially with the student section. It’s most likely because people can no longer tolerate showcasing animal abuse.

frick it, why stop at 2? How bout “Mikes” for all LSU sports? We’re keeping the opposing teams’ bullpen at the Box, just building a wall around it, right? Let’s just add a bit to that construction and have a 3rd Mike there growling all game at the opposing pitchers every time they warm up. Replace Superfan behind home plate at Tiger Park with a cage and insert a 4th Mike there to growl at opposing hitters when they enter the box. The 5th Mike could be in a cage at the PMAC right by the scorers table on the visiting side so they have to walk past him every time they sub in. 6th Mike could be trained to growl at opposing gymnasts during their beam routines. 7th Mike could walk with the golf teams and growl at guys and gals from other school at every tee box. “I get a Mike! You get a Mike! Everybody gets a Mike!”
Hell, why even stop there? They’re somewhat endangered, no? Let’s start an aggressive breeding campaign and pass a law that every public school classroom must have a Mike, sitting right under The Ten Commandments as a not-so-subtle reminder of what may happen to you if you should have the audacity to ever break one. Just Tigers all over the fricking place.

This is why Louisiana is last or close to last in damn near every metric
All the issues in the state and this is what the politicians focus on.
Be careful what you wish for. May make all these efforts to get a live tiger in the stadium that you end up with no tigers at all.

If we are going to have a second mascot to supposedly bring back an old tradition, this is the only way. This Ellis Hugh probably couldn't be convinced to spit a cheerleader back out, so that would harm the "tradition."
