All I know is that on Nov. 3rd, Tiger Stadium needs to shake and put the rest of these to shame.

I wasn't in the stadium, but would have figured 2008 when Lsu blocked the potential game winning alabama field goal with under a minute to go in saban's first trip back to BR would be top 5. It sounded loud as frick on TV

No one can convince me that Tiger Stadium has ever had 30 straight seconds as loud as this moment. Ever.

This was the peak. The loudest it has ever been.

I couldn't hear myself think in 2008 when we blocked the field goal. It was so unexpected that it kicked the noise up a notch or two.

I was driving back from SLU and listening to it on the radio. shite sounded insane in TS. Too bad I got home and JL threw his third pic in that one. We could have beat that team too.

D Bowe AND Early Doucet dropping TDs in that 05 game. I wasn't at that Auburn game, but I remember being at some Jamarcus games and being amazed at how wide open our receivers would get on almost every play. Then he would miss them or make some bone head throw into double coverage. But damn he sure should could sling it.

I called it before he did it. I jumped up and threw my hands up so hard, I actually gave myself an abdominal sports hernia. Still have it.

I was at the 08 gump game in the end zone where the Tigers blocked the kick. I almost blacked out from screaming. It was CRAZY!

LSU vs. Bama 2008 was easily the loudest I have ever heard TS. I wasn't there for the USC losing annoucement at the Florida 07 game so I can't compare the two but I've seen a good number of games and it was unreal how loud it was when that winning field goal was blocked.

Also, the OT win against Arkansas 09 has got to be one of the most underrated games as far as noise level is concerned.

As for 2008 Bama, had the guy (I forget who) who got the ball ran left instead of right, he would have had a wall of blockers and probably would have scored a TD.

I think if that had happened it would have caused cracks in the stadium.

But the loudest moment that I have ever witnessed was in 2005 LSU #7 vs Auburn #16 Oct. 22, 2005

I remember this game because it's when I found out where my true allegiances lie.

It was the first game of the WS for the Astros in Chicago, and I had 8 tickets for games 3,4,and 5 in Houston.

When push came to shove, I went to Tiger Stadium. The Astros eventually lost in the bot of the 9th on a Posednik home run, I think. Or that may have been another game they lost in the 4 they lost in the last AB.

Great thread. Very underrated game. Couldn't believe he missed 5 FGs. It's funny how quiet the stadium was as the ball was kicked. Afterward it was chaos.

I think 2005 Auburn might "compare". Even if USC was louder, its impossible to say that Auburn 2005, Florida 2007, Georgia 2003 dont "compare"

That 79 USC game had my ears ringing for days. And that was back when max capacity was 78,500. By far the most EFFORT I have ever witnessed by our fans to make a difference and upset the #1 team in the land. We almost pulled it off.
