I don't know why people care about rankings this early in the year. They don't even matter at this point. It's too early too know who is the best or at the top yet anyways.

Wisc. has a great football team, so who cares where Lou ranks them. Its not like he has Auburn, Michigan, or some other 15-25 ranked school ahead of us. Wisc is GOOD and a National title contender.

You answered your own question. No. Preseason polls frick everything. Polls shouldn't come out until week 3-4.

I agree and disagree. The early polls are useless but usually fairly accurate, so the early polls are mostly for the fans. The BCS doesn't come out until Oct, so the real poll does not start until week 4 or 5.
I like the preseason polls. It's part of college football (and I don't want a playoff season)

number 2- Lou Holtz is a huge bit. He said last night before the ND game that he thinks they are like the '77 ND team that lost their first game and ran the table and won the NC game. I do enjoy watching him for just pure comic relief.
