He was a staple to this defense. Huge leader, was taking signal from the sideline if that tells you anything. We will be ok, but the level of dominance he brought was unparalleled.

Terrible loss. I’m worried it’s going to take some fire out of that defense

I feel terrible for him too, but that's just how it goes. Happens to every team. Hell.. Bama lost two linebackers before the season even started. Next man up.

Let's just be thankful our linebacker depth is MUCH better than it was a few years ago.

There's no D.J. Welter to step in for him....

Go watch the game again. I don't think that he was dominating on the level we thought he would. Apart from the big sack in the 4th, he was not beating the tackles regularly.

It is def a big loss for us, but I think our defense will be fine.

He was one of the reasons that rosier was being flushed out of the pocket consistently. Just because he didn’t make the sack doesn’t mean he wasn’t doing his job.

Every single analyst was saying how he dominated Sunday night. He beat the tackle on every play.

Are we back to believing and liking the analysts now?

Go rewatch the game and you’ll see Michael Divinty being more effective than K’Lavon all K’Lavon was doing is trying to out run the tackle and the Qb just stepped up in the pocket to avoid the sack everytime

People are sleeping on Anthony, kid is good and will fill in nicely. Thornton and Moore are good as well.
Sucks losing a player of that caliber but they gonna be fine.

Anthony, Moore, and Cherry will need to step up. How did Anthony play ? I saw he got some snaps but didn’t see him make any plays.

Chaisson is tough to replace but I agree that he isn’t the pass rusher Arden Key was at this point. He’s a freak but it’s obvious he’s still learning the game. Don’t take this this wrong way but taking a year to continue learning and realizing he can’t rely on his freakish athleticism alone could really benefit him. He could add another 20-30 pounds to his frame as well.

What? It’s not like we lost Devin White for the year. We will be fine. I know a bunch of people really want him to be successful and love to compare but he is not Arden key. He was not dominating the game in any way shape or form. He is not, yet, the impact player some of you make him out to be. Just watch the game and see. He can be replaced.

I understand your optimism but the word "fine" triggers me. it comes up all the time when we miss in recruiting too. KLC is, very obviously, our best Bench LB. thats why hes out there, thats why Aranda raves about him, if "fine" was the goal, if "fine" was good enough to win the SEC we wouldnt even need to go get guys like him.

Exactly, he collapsed the pocket and made Rosier hurry his throws. It can't be stated enough that he'll be hard to replace.

I want to see Travez Moore. Kid looks the part. Ray Ray Thornton honestly has looked a bit underwhelming to me every time I see him in the game. It looks like he struggles to shed blocks.
