re: Losing 4 starting OL + Guice and Williams might seal our fate next season

The wildcard is what our new OL coach can do with the OL. Cregg comes with a very solid resume'.
Traore will likely at least challenge for starting RT and MaGee as well as Deculus give you solid options. I would think Brumfield stays because I doubt he has a high draft grade.
Cushenberry gets the nod at OC and Cole Smith was a top OC recruit, but needs to bulk up a bit. He will be a good one. Looked very solid at the UA game. ESPN actually ranks him the #1 overall recruit from MS.

In 2007, Cregg landed his first NFL job as an assistant offensive line coach with the Oakland Raiders (2007-08). In 2009, he was hired to coach the offensive line at the University of Tennessee. That season, the Volunteers allowed just 12 sacks, tied for fewest on the Southeastern Conference.
Cregg spent one season in Knoxville before moving to California to become the offensive line coach at USC for the next four seasons (2010-13). Cregg coached first-team All-Pac-12 selections in each of his four years with the school, including offensive tackles and future NFL first-round picks Tyron Smith (No. 9, Dallas, 2011) and Matt Kalil (No. 4, Minnesota, 2012).
In 2011, USC finished second in the nation in sacks allowed (eight) despite not starting a senior along the offensive line. Kalil was named first-team All-America, while guard Marcus Martin was chosen as a first-team Freshman All-America

You are being disingenuous about your original statement. You stated they had no one to get them the ball. They split so many opportunities and Mett was a very accurate strong armed college passer.

The more I think about it, the more this:
T: Charles
G: Ingram
C: Brumfield
G: Deculus
T: Traore
gets me excited. Thats a bad group of dudes.

I was speaking more about Williams.. Guice won’t be replaced easily, I know that...
But Williams’ production can be easily replaced.. that’s not that far of a reach

All the younger players will have another year of experience. Numbers aren't getting better on the OL, but they're not getting worse. It will have to continue to be an area of emphasis.
Missing out on Akers AND Etienne will have long-term consequences. I think Curry and CEH are going to be great, but with the past Jeremy Hill era of Fournette, Williams and Guice - we've been very spoiled at having NFL quality backs, basically all the time.

Most OGs can move to C. C is usually the smartest (and slowest) OG on the roster.

That’s what I figured.. but he didn’t play center this past season, did he?
Couldn’t find that anywheres online

Who knows. Cregg may switch it up. We have solid depth, but we did in 2017 too until players started jumping ship.

And next year, assuming Brumfield stays, we lose;
Moreau
Brumfield
Dillon
Sullivan (possible)
Brossette
Anderson (possible)
Traore (possible)
We can do this every year, can't we?
