our starters vs ND

we're definitely losing 8, might be 9, from an offense that wasnt very good to begin with but that our staff felt were the best options.

from the OL, Malone is obviously gone, Clapp and Weathersby declared early and Brumfield might do the same.

The RBs on the roster now arent even close to the skill level of Guice, and maybe not even Williams.

the WRs will likely be fine, though young, but it'll be a Landry/Beckham situation; it wont matter if no one can get them the ball enough.

the young OL actually played relatively well last year but Canadas system did a lot to hide that. when Ems was the temp OC, the line looked the same as it always had vs good defenses.

Malone wasn't a starter. Even when he became healthy, he wasn't a starter. O-line will be fine. All will be fine. EVERYBODY FREAK OUTTTTT!!!!!!

Hey, no worries.

Everything is fine.

Brumfield will probably declare and we lose four starters off last year's OL that Canada did a great job masking the weakness of.

But hey, we gonna go back to "attacking Alabama at their strong points and make 'em back down!"

We comin'!

we will have a good and productive offense next year, not great but just good and better then most doom sayers want to claim.

SE has lots of OC experience and will do well. he might not be an offensive genius to outsmart the top SEC DC but it should be a pretty competitive team.

obviously those are not the words we want to hear describing LSU, but it is what it is for now.

im not saying he was great, but Malone started for years, and then again after his injury vs ND. Christ i even included a picture of the starting lineup.

what in the hell are you talking about?

Charles was our starting LT most of the year and he returns. So we’ll return 3/5 starters and added 2 JUCO guys who should at least be ready to step into the 2-deep. Unless injuries kill us, OL should be the least of our offensive worries.

Losing Clapp is terrible. Between Traore/Charles/Ingram/Deculus we have solid guards and tackles, but no idea who replaces Clapp at center.
Best case scenario is Brumfield stays and slides to C.

Dude is just a warm body, not a replacement for a player the caliber of Clapp

So no one could get Beckham and Landry the ball? How many yards receiving did they have again their last year?

This is the dumbest statement with zero fact behind it, even if you are in a blind rage at least get your facts right.

Clapp is the only loss that we might have kept that hurts. Guice hurts, but not unexpected to lose him. Weatherby and Malone are not as big loses as is Clapp.

We comin

The offense wasn't even good this year.
Recall that guy LSU fired for lack of offense? In his 11 seasons had 10 that scored more ppg than 2017.
